I hope to see lots of folks at Fudcon this year, but I know sadly that some Fedora contributors are not going to end up being able to make it.

If you can’t make it to this fudcon you can drop by #fedora-fudcon on irc.freenode.net and share with folks who are there. Also watch the Fudcon Tempe 2011 wiki page for news and reports of sessions and other good info from the event.

If you are going to be there, remember that we should be using Fudcon to discuss and create ideas, which we should then present and allow input from the Fedora community before enacting. Document clear proposals for everyone to discuss, improve and ratify in normal ways. Try and include people on mailing lists, irc and other communication channels, especially if part of your group is not present.

Here’s some june pictures. June marks the opening of the Colorado Ren Faire.
As usual I spent a lot of time down there…

Nash had a blast down there. He loved the attention, and as you can see he learned how to relax too.

As usual, my friend T had lap dogs.

Well, I have totally failed to keep up with my postings. ;(

Last post was in mid-may, so just a bit over 2 months ago.
I just grabbed a ton of pictures off my camera, so look for some photo post updates very soon.

Other things that have been going on (in no particular order):

- The Ren faire has been going on. Have been going most every weekend down there with the pups. I have a ton of pictures.
- Camped down at the campground near faire some, and went on another short camping trip up to boyd lake. I really am enjoying my trailer.
- Ran out to Austin one weekend for a surprise birthday party for a friend. He was indeed very surprised, and it was a lovely time.
- Went down to another friends wedding reception. It was a blast, and the trailer worked great down in NM.
- Lots more that I am sure I have forgotten.

I managed to put my phone cable upstairs under some things and it took me a while to locate it, so these pictures are a bit later than normal.

Last weekend of Faire was supposed to be the end of July, but due to the rain weekend, they extended it another weekend.
That was great, as it allowed me a final chance to get out there this year. All the usual greyhound booth friends were there. Hopefully I can stay in touch with them over the winter better this time than I did last year. Probibly the last weekend in Aug is looking likely for my annual post faire BBQ.

In an effort to catch back up on pictures before I leave town again, here’s some pictures from the weekend of the 15th and 16th out at faire.
It was hot. Hot hot hot. We were doing ok on donations, then someone came and dropped 2 c-notes in the jar. That was a very good day.

It was my last weekend out at the ren faire this year, and boy was it a hot one.
Both days were over 100 they said. I walked in the parade with Merlin both days, and even he was dragging a bit in the sun…

Will put up pictures later. Looks like I might end up doing a short foster of a puppy this week (I’m heading out of town friday). Not sure the few days are really worth it, but it would let me find out if I can handle a puppy and if kurt and merlin would be ok with one around.
Should find out more later today on that.
