The apple pie (using canned apples) 3/4 ti 1 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of flour 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 fruit juice 3 1/2 cups drained fruit Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix in saucepan sugar, flour, cinnamon, and fruit juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and boils. Pour hot thickened juice over fruit. Mix lightly. Pour into pastry lined pan. (You may dot with butter, but I usually don't) Cover with top crust . Cut slits for steam. Turn two crusts under slightly and crimp. Bake 35 to 45 minutes. This is the same recipe I use to make Peach Pie only I substitute peach slices for the apples. It also works for canned cherry pie.
