To Andrew's Webroom!

Hi my name is still Andrew. I'm now in 6th grade. I'm a second class scout with Troop 224 in Sherwood, OR. So far, I have earned 8 of the 21 merit badges that I need to make my goal of Eagle Scout. They are:

This summer I went to camp Merriweather. I also went to Michigan, Wyoming and a bunch of other states on the way (we drove there). The way this worked was, my grandparents took me in their motorhome for a week to Gilette, WY for an Escapade. One of my favorite things there was making a YouTube video (I want to point out that I was under orders to be weird). In Wyomng I also went to a coal mine and Devil's Tower. We drove the motorhome up to N. Dakota and left it in Theodore Roosevelt National Park with some friends of my grandparents. Then we took the Amtrak back to Oregon, and I arrived home on my birthday. The next day my grandparents left with my brother Robert on Amtrack. I drove with the rest of the family to meet them in Escanaba, Michigan. We arrived and had a lot of fun. We went to a wedding, talked with my great grandmother, Unc, and a whole bunch of the rest of our family. When we got back to Oregon, it was time for Robert's scout camp. I helped out there. When that was done, my other Grandpa came from New York with my uncle and Grandma. That was a blast too. Then it was time for my camp and by the time I got back from that it was already time for school.

I also like getting to travel to Tucson, AZ this fall. I got lots of time with my "Uncle" Brett, which is pretty cool. I wish we could get back down there more often, or at least that I could text with him more frequently. (This is my HINT to Mom and Dad that I NEED a cell phone!)

I have been enjoying school... somewhat, despite the workload. I take social studies, P.E., pottery, math, science, and language arts. My favorite class is social studies, followed closely by (if not tied with) science and pottery. I've made several new friends. And it's been a pretty good year.

I hope that 2009 is as good a year, and we don't get a 3 week winter break because of snow. Be sure to get my email address from my parents if you want to email me. -Andrew
