About the Author

Lewis Call received his Ph.D. in Modern European History from the University of California, Irvine in 1996. He teaches Political Economy, World History and the History of Network Technology at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Dr. Call's dissertation is entitled Friedrich Nietzsche as Critic and Captive of Enlightenment.
